Family Pictures – The Reardons

I love this family! They are so sweet and fun. Plus, totally photogenic! The day of our shoot was quite chilly, so we sped through and got some nice shots in barely more than a half hour! And I have to say, I’m happy with the result :) . Here’s a few from the day!

I can’t help but love this next one ;)

Senior Pictures – Mackenzie

Whew, I got a little behind on blogging there! I took Mackenzie’s senior pictures a couple weeks ago. The day was sunny and clear – and that’s just how the weather for Mackenzie’s senior pictures should’ve been :) . I was totally imagining her pictures being during golden hour. I loved how comfortable she was posing for the camera! We had a really fun time. Below are a few from our shoot. <3

Senior Pictures – Jessica

A week or so ago, I took senior pictures for Jessica :D
She knew she wanted to do something a little different for some of her pictures, and she ended up deciding to get some shots in the photography section of the library! (I know. She’s super cool.)

We ended up with a huge pile of photographers’ books surrounding her. She pulled them off the shelves and looks through them as I snapped candids and occasional smiles for the camera :)

PLUS, we discovered that the Beatles had a 365!!

We tried to find a Harry Potter book to use as a prop in this next shot… but this was right before the Deathly Hallows Part 1 release, so they were all checked out. Boo.

Books, books, and more books <3

Then we headed to a nearby lake for some naturally-lit outdoor shots :)

Yes, Jessica is so beautiful :D

We even found some fall colors that were still holding on :)

And to finish it off, some flying leaves! :D This picture reminds me of Pocohontas, who Jessica actually was for Halloween. Go figure ;)

Jessica, thanks a ton for letting me take your senior pictures! It was a blast :D

Client Shoots – Up To Now!

Okay! From here on out, I’m going to be blogging most of my client shoots. Before that starts, though, I want to catch you up on the client shoots I’ve done so far. Let’s start most recently :) .

Yesterday I did a couple shoot of Caleb and Colleen. I have wanting to photograph their cuteness for… well, about a year. No joke :D . Fittingly, this shoot was a surprise from Caleb to Colleen for their anniversary!

Last week, I did two family shoots. Here’s two from one :)

And three from the other!

Both families are TOTALLY awesome :D

The week before that, I did some senior pictures for my friend, Joey.

In October, I shot a wedding on my own for the first time :D it was a blast!!

In… September, I believe, I took pictures of a wonderful little girl that I baby-sit for and her family. :)

While I was at the beach this summer my family and four other families, I did a shoot with two of the sisters there, and a few with them and their mom!

A few weeks before that, I took pictures of two other beautiful sisters.

In August, I got to be one of several photographers at the first wedding I’d ever shot at, period. :)

Here are two from a family shoot I did in the summer, as well!

In July, I took engagement pictures for the couple whose wedding I was one of the photographers for :)

And in… March (ish), I had my very first shoot :) . We did some couple pictures and some senior pictures.

One last little set of pictures: around the same time as my first official shoot, I took my own senior pictures, haha. Here are a few of them.

The end! That is, until I do more senior pictures next week :D

Hello!

I just spent a while trying to figure out what to title this post. What are you supposed to call a first blog post anyways? “And So It Begins”? “Welcome”? “Hello World”? “I Hope This Isn’t Also My Last Post”? But anyway…

Hello! My name’s Lindsay Anne, and I will be your photography blogger for today. And hopefully many days to come.

I’m a portrait and events photographer. I’m a Christian. I live between Baltimore, Maryland, and Washington DC. I tremendously prefer natural light.

I’ll probably spend the next few posts blogging a some of the client shoots I’ve done, then continue on with most of my future shoots, plus a few personal posts every now and then.

Thanks for visiting, and be sure to check back soon!
